Abomination by Bragi Schut [ 4 stars ]

From the Description:

The year is 1942 and Sgt. Harry Wilkins has been sent back from the front in disgrace. He is being sent to the coldest, most brutal and inhospitable place on the planet... the Arctic. A place where the sun only rises for a few scant hours each day and darkness reigns. A place where myth and legend are as real as the biting cold. Here, at the ends of the earth, Harry Wilkins will face an unspeakable terror that will bring him either death... or redemption.

I don't normally read graphic novels but decided to take a chance on this one when I won a copy in a goodreads giveaway. Based on an Inuit legend the story is told in the form of journal entries. The storyline grabbed me right away and made you feel as though you were there and the artwork was dark and well done. A good book even for those who don't normally get into graphic novels. A fun adventure into the unknown at the top of the world. A solid 4 stars.
